Winter Beauty Haul

hey guys!

Can you believe it’s already December 1st?! December is my favorite month of the year…. because #Christmas duh 🙂

With that being said, December is kind of the first “winter” month in Texas, which means my skin is starting to get pastier and pastier and my summer makeup is no longer cutting it. After Thanksgiving is usually when I do my winter makeup haul and this year I lucked out because my sister-in-law works for bobbi brown and stocked up a ton of freebies for me, therefore I really only have to purchase a handful of new things. Here are some of my favorite products that i’ll be using this season….

Even though I’m a total bronzer addict,
in the winter I definitely try to tone it down and add in
a little bit of blush to my cheeks to create a more natural flushed look.
Sugarbomb is my go-to because its very understated and not too pink.

Anyone else notice Lauren Bushnells total face transformation from The Bachelor
to Ben & Lauren Happily Ever After? She claims is all in the brows.

With that being said, I’m sure she’s secretly had something done, but I do believe
that how you do your brows can totally change the look of your face.
The key is to draw your brows slightly higher then they really are.
Don’t go overboard or you’ll look like a clown, but if you just fill them in above
instead of below, it gives you the more “awake/botoxy” look.

love love love these shades for winter.
I typically stick with brown and copper shades,
but in the winter I do add a hint of plum to the outter corners
to make my blue eyes pop a bit.

These toner pads are wonderful. I have super sensitive skin and these don’t irritate me at all.

Depending on what I’m doing that day, I’ll switch between using this super light-weight
tinted moisturizer (on casual days) or my Make Up For Ever Foundation (which is much heavier)
on days where I want to impress.
