Can you believe we’re already talking about Valentines Day? I feel like it was just Christmas! Whether you’re planning on having a hot date or a ‘galentines’ day bash with your girls- its never fun waiting until the last minute to plan your outfit. We’ve all been there, its 4 days before the event and you haven’t purchased an outfit yet…. so then you end up paying $20 in over-night shipping fees and stress yourself out forcing your body into a dress that just isn’t working for ya. ha. Can you tell I’ve done this one too many times?
So this year, I’m getting on top of the ball early and helping y’all plan your outfit enough in advance that selecting ‘standard shipping’ isn’t a total gamble.
As y’all know, I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant (31 on Thursday!) so obviously squeezing into a super skin tight strapless dress just isn’t happening this year … plus I live in Boston now so weather wouldn’t really permit that anyway.
The dress I’m wearing here is from an online maternity boutique called Pink Blush that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with. Up until a few weeks ago, I was avoiding maternity clothes like the plague. To be honest, most of them just aren’t cute. They’re super matronly looking or just fit like a paper sack.
However, over the past few weeks I’ve experimented with several different maternity brands and found that some of them can actually be quite flattering on your growing tummy (not to mention more comfortable than squeezing into non-maternity stuff).
Okay so on to the dresses! I’ve broken it up into two sections- Maternity and Non-Maternity.
