Trader Joes Favorites- Vegan Edition

My love affair with Trader Joes is going real strong right now. The amount of food you can get for the price is just un-real. I can buy a full weeks worth of food (and wine) for only $40. HALLELUJAH.

For starters, you can buy a bottle of wine for $2.99 … and it’s really not bad! I mean I’m not a wine guru, but it’s certainly better than barefoot or yellowtail which is the next lowest priced wine at around $7 a bottle.

I’ve tried the Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet and all were worth buying again in my opinion. Would I ever bring them to a party or gift them? No. But it’s totally adequate for my Monday night Bachelor viewing pleasure¬†ūüôā

Bananas…¬†I mean they’re 19 cents?!¬†Who says eating healthy has to be expensive.

Next up, EGGPLANT HUMMUS… omg this stuff is crack. It sounds disgusting, but trust me it’s worth it. It’s only 35 calories for 2 tablespoons and is completely dairy free. And i’m not the only one that thinks this stuff is legit because if I go to the store too late in the day they are sold out of it.

The Spicy Hummus is  slightly higher in calories than the eggplant, but is also really yummy and still quite low compared to other hummus brands

Riced Cauliflower: Grated up Cauliflower bagged up and sold at virtually the same price as the head of cauliflower would be but they do the work for you and save you the mess. I use this for stir-frys, salads add-ins, and healthy mashed potatoes.

Grilled Cauliflower is also just as much of a staple. I love that they are frozen so I don’t have to worry about too many vegetables going bad in my fridge.

Diet Hansens Soda: Okay maybe not great for you, but I’d say the ingredients are better than other diet sodas for sure.

Tri-colored Peppers: For salads, stir frys, etc. Find in the freezer section

Mango Slices: No sugar or artificial crap added. Great for your purse for those times where you all of a sudden feel hangry between meals. My Life.

Muesli: I add extra raisins, put in a baggie, and keep in my purse as well. I also love to eat as a dry snack when watching tv or eat as cereal with blueberries and almond milk.

Rolled Oats: Huge bag and really inexpensive. Mush up a banana and heat on the stove top with water and a few splashes of almond milk… seriously good!

Liquid Stevia is life.

I use these^^ to season pretty much everything. They make for perfect popcorn seasonings as well!

Just Fruit Bars <3 Nothing else!

Apple and Coconut bar is my favorite.

Just Beets: Okay so this one I haven’t actually tasted for myself because they are fairly new and the TJ’s by my apartment doesn’t have them in yet. However, I’ve seen so many people raving about them so I thought I’d add them on here. Apparently they have the texture and salty taste of potato chips, yet somehow the only ingredient is dehydrated beets… interesting. As soon as I get my hands on a bag I’ll let you know if they really are as good as people say.
