Hi guys! I’ve been on a big reading kick lately, and since summer is quickly approaching I figured I would post a few “beach worthy” reads. Side note: I buy all my books on my iPad so that I can read them while I’m on the stairmaster– makes the time go by SO much faster.
- Me Before You by JoJo Moyes: An un-usual love story between an ordinary girl who has never traveled outside her tiny village and an ex-white collar businessman with a royal name who through a tragic accident becomes a quadriplegic requiring round-the-clock care. I absolutely did not want this book to end. It’s definitely one of my all time favorites and I highly recommend picking this one up. It’s soon to be a major motion picture, so hurry up and read it before the movie comes out… because we all know the books are always better!
- All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven: A boy meets girl story about two high-school kids brought together by death. Some might say it’s a bit of a depressing plot, except that the two personalities bloom becoming something beautiful and thought-provoking.
- What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty: Tells the story of a woman who thinks it’s the year 1998, about to have her first child and is happily married to her husband, Nick. Unfortunately for her, not only has she seemingly lost 10 year of her life, but is also a mother to 3 children she doesn’t remember, while navigating a divorce she doesn’t want.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!
