GF Protein Banana Bread

Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing another one of my healthy alternatives to traditional sweet treats! I think I can confidently say pretty much everyone enjoys a warm slice of Banana Bread. Growing up I remember my mom baking the BEST banana bread. I always enjoyed the smell it left in the house and how easy it was to grab as I was rushing out the door half asleep at 5:30am for Volleyball practice.

Not to say that traditional banana bread is “un-healthy” per say, but I’m here to share a recipe with you that has less carbs and more protein– which will prevent the sugar spike and keep you full longer!



Toppings (optional):

  • Walnuts
  • PB2 (peanut-butter powder)
  • Sliced Bananas
  • Cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Blend all ingredients together.
  3. Pour the batter in a bread muffin mold.
  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

  1. This recipe sounds amazing! I am right there with you on my mom’s banana bread. It was always so so good, but made with more sugar & butter than any other ingredient haha. Definitely giving this recipe a try soon!
