Bridal Makeup Trial Run #1

Hi guys!
So I’m currently sitting here watching Moonlight as I type this out.
Who else is terribly confused about the Oscar mixup last night?
Like ouch… that was awkwardddddd.
I kind of feel bad for Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. Oh well.

Anyways, yesterday I went to my sister-in-laws to do play with makeup/
do our first trial run for my bridal makeup. Luckily she is a make up artist,
so IĀ get to test out different looks and see what looks best and what not
without paying the trial run fee that makeup artists normally charge.

She has the dreamiest makeup vanity in the world.
Like I’m excited to move to Boston solely because
I get to re-decorate which includes copying her vanity set up šŸ™‚
{only kind of kidding}

Yesterday we started with a soft pink smoky eye-
Soft on the inner eye with a little more drama on the outside.
I loved it! At first I thought it may be too dark for a bridal look,
but then Nastaran reminded me that once my hair is done up and I
have my gown on, I’ll want a more done-up makeup look to match.
Which I agree with! Plus, as you can see in the pics below,
makeup definitely doesn’t come through as much in pictures
so you do need a bit extra.

Here are the products she used on me:

Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in color #4

Mac Bronzer in color A86 “Give Me Sun”

HourGlass HighlighterĀ in ‘luminousĀ light’

Becca and Jaclyn Hill Blush Palette (LTO)

Natasha Denona EyeShadow Palette: Color ‘Piggy’

Star Lit Powder (for pigmentation over Piggy eyeshadow)

Make Up GeekĀ : SteamPunk Eyeshadow (outside corner of eyes)

Mac ‘Pink Plaid’ Lipstick

Marc Jacobs ‘Love Buzz’ Gloss

Bobbi Brown Setting Powder

She didn’t use the below on me, but it’s a perfect Spring lipstick! {Pinky Purple Color}

Any bridal makeup tips for me?

xoxo, Abby
